The #SNP range
To coincide with the launch of Saturday Night Pasta, I have created a limited edition line of Australian pasta tools. I constantly get asked where people can purchase pasta tools and to be honest, apart from Italy, good quality tools can be hard to come by. After many months and dead ends, I finally connected with master craftsman, Warwick Backhouse and his wife Naomi who live in the lower South West region of Western Australia. Warwick and Naomi were up for the challenge and so the process began. After sending proto-types back and forth across Australia, I'm excited to reveal the first Saturday Night Pasta tool collection.
The launch collection consists of three different pasta boards, each with its own distinct pattern, a fluted pastry wheel and a dough cutter/scraper/pasta-mover or whatever you'd like to call it. Each piece is handmade from Jarrah which is a native wood to Western Australia. Warwick has painstakingly etched the words Saturday Night Pasta into the tools. As each piece is uniquely handmade, they vary ever so slightly in colour. The pieces all come in their own "feel the knead" hessian bag for safe-keeping.
In addition to the tools, a limited edition Feel the Knead #SaturdayNightPasta T-shirt in two colour ways - White with Pomodoro Red and Navy with Dough Yellow - is available to purchase.
This collection is very limited however we will be launching more tools soon.
